Expert Testimony

Highlighted Project

PAL Senior Staff are qualified to provide expert testimony within their specific areas of expertise. This includes appearing before federal and state courts, providing written and oral depositions about matters before Conservation Commissions, Historic District Commissions, Planning Boards, Zoning Boards, and the Coastal Resource Management Council. We have provided testimony concerning municipal Historic District legislation and applications, zoning, planned redistricting, transportation enhancement projects, and proposed residential subdivision development. PAL staff works within the standards of historic preservation and the ethical guidelines of anthropology and archaeology, as presented in the Codes of Ethics of the Society of American Archaeology, American Anthropological Association, and Register of Professional Archaeologists, and are knowledgeable of federal, state, and municipal cultural resource management legislation.
