properties to Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American
Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) standards is the most common form of Section
106 mitigation services that PAL has provided for its clients. HABS/HAER
written and photographic documentation has been an element of more than 70
projects that PAL has completed. As part of those projects, we have
documented well over 200 properties of numerous types, including buildings,
structures, and districts, to HABS/HAER standards. PAL has also conducted
successful state-level documentation projects in all of the New England
states. For projects requiring large format negatives and archival
photographic processing, PAL utilizes the services of professional
photographic firm Warren Jagger Photography of Providence, Rhode Island. Our
written and photographic documentation packages are prepared in accordance
with standards established by the HABS/HAER and meet all requirements for
format, content, and archival storage.
