Environmental Compliance

PAL regularly collaborates with other environmental firms to develop documentation for projects that require review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969.

The services that we provide for environmental compliance projects include:

  • identification and evaluation of cultural resources in the project area
  • assessment of project impacts on historic properties
  • participation in the development of alternatives designed to avoid, minimize, or mitigate impacts
  • consultation with local, state, and federal review agencies.

The results of these studies and consultations are synthesized for inclusion in federal Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements or state environmental compliance studies, such as those required under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA).
