HABS/HAER and State Level Documentation
Recording properties to Historic American Buildings Survey and/or Historic American Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) standards is a common form of Section 106 mitigation that PAL provides its clients.
HABS/HAER written and photographic documentation has been an element of more than 100 PAL projects. We have documented well over 500 properties to HABS/HAER standards, including buildings, structures, and districts.
PAL has conducted successful state-level documentation projects in all of the New England states. For projects requiring large-format negatives and archival photographic processing, PAL utilizes the services of Warren Jagger Photography.
Our written and photographic documentation is prepared in accordance with the HABS/HAER standards and meet all requirements for format, content, and archival storage.
